The menu didn't differ too vastly from what I recall: kabobs in various forms served alongside beige-tinted Basmati and warm flats of naan. A side of greens, dressed lightly with a translucent ranch-like drizzle, and diced tomato emulsion were also common counterparts.
...
Contradicting my memory was the naan bread, which exhibited a distinct aura of staleness. I'd also admit finding greater pleasure in Naan & Kabob's toasty, mellow rendition.
I snuck a bite of the tandoori chicken at one point: while smoky and undoubtedly tastier than that of my own plain grilled, it was spicier than tolerable.
After watching the new James Bond movie Spectre, my friends and I were starving. That's what happens when you watch a 2.5 hours of action packed movie! My friend suggested this place since she lives in the area. It reminds me a little of Paramount another Kabob restaurant. You order at the cashier and bring the food to your table when it is ready. You save on the tip and the portions are quite large. We ordered their lamb dinner, tandoori chicken dinner, and a side of beef kabobs to share. They give you two big pieces of Naan bread as well. The dinner comes with rice and salad. I really liked their Basmati rice, not dried but not too oily. My favorite was the beef as it was tender and not too dry. The tandoori chicken was slightly burnt and the lamb was fine.
The restaurant is in the section at East Beaver Creek and Hwy 7 where there are a lot of restaurants
There's lots of free parking, there's a lot of restaurants, you might find you have to park a bit further away if you are coming on a Friday or Saturday night.
This place is casual. Its not a table service restaurant. You have your choice of table or booth.
You order at a counter just like fast food style. You have a seat and the counter staff yell your number. They are really nice.
The food comes really fast.
You have tour choice of kabobs, salads, and wraps, etc.
I ordered the steak kabobs dinner. It's the one on the front cover of the menu and is the most popular menu item.
Your food comes on huge oval plates, overflowing rice, a green salad, a small tomato and onion salsa, and a piece of naan bread.
It was delicious. The steak was tender, great taste, the naan soft and chewy like you expect. The rice was cook well, not over or under done.
There was so much food I could have shared my plate. Ate half of it there and took the rest home, had it for lunch the next day. A wonderful treat!
